The Vacancy
We are looking for an individual to provide excellent support and customer service to our schools, Network Support Team staff and partner schools. You will be part of the Trust's central IT Team and will provide 1st line IT support remotely as well as regular onsite IT support.
In addition, you will also support Trust wide IT projects and be involved in schools that join the Trust.
This role will be primarily home-based but will require frequent travel to Trust sites across Devon. You must have access to your own transport.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing network, internet and software support to the workforce, particularly Microsoft Windows and Office products, which are essential elements of this role, together with an interest in future IT developments. We are looking for a team player with a proactive approach who can work independently as well as part of a team.
This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. There may be times when an earlier or later start time is required, however the normal working hours are between Monday – Friday, between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
